Edited by: Silence iKillYouu on 23/09/2008 11:45:48 Princess, it is not in your power, or CCP's power to judge something like that. This is something for a court of justice to decide, after an investigation carried out by the proper authorities, provided the potential plaintiff does file a lawsuit.
I'm just cutting the crap you're spewing short. Worry not, do not hack and your IP shall remain secure. Log on to a private TS server and you are legitimately handing out information such as your IP.
Also, any information recovered through this consensual "agreement" (that of connecting to a private server, with whom you have not signed a prior non-disclosure agreement), is legally obtained and will be judged as information you consented to giving.
So please, RTFM (i.e. the law) and stfu. *sigh*

Edited by: Silence iKillYouu on 23/09/2008 11:56:48 One common sense question comes to mind. Where is the alleged victim of this "assault on privacy"? And why is anyone assuming the role of this person's public defender? If anyone should complain (though here is definitely not the place to do so) it is that person. Not Varraxian of the amarr army. geez
This is my main pal.

stupid enough to not make his registered domain private :-)
It was exactly as I thought then. That information was publicly released and you guys should quote the actual internet resource that gave you the information, just in case (though you can rest assured, not even a lawsuit can help this poor sod). As for meta-gaming, only way to fight it is with meta-gaming. So grats on discovering the wannabe James Bond, he deserves all the phone action.
Edit: Your only shot at getting something done is logging the events and petitioning their respective ISPs, but other than that, unless they actually steal information that causes prejudice (preferably of a material nature). My advice is that you plant some sensitive information on the forum, with a very low potential for damaging, in order to make the affair a felony, rather than a misdemeanor.
Your friendly legal counsel, Silence
